A friendly welcome...

Who we are:

Oaklands is a family run B&B. John and Siobhan have lived in Coachford for over 30 years and have an extensive knowledge of the local area and its highlights. They also are former propietors of the Village Inn Bar in Coachford village, where they hosted many fishing competitions and acted as a chief sponsor and  local advocate to angling on Iniscara Lake.

Now John and Siobhan run Oaklands to continue to cater for these anglers as well as the ever growing visitors coming to the area.

Who we cater for:

Due to the location of Oaklands, we specialise in the catering and hosting of group bookings especially for that of anglers as well as the athletes utilising the National Rowing Center of Ireland and the 30 golf clubs within driving distance.

Anglers can expect to get a full breakfast with packed lunch or dinner on request. There are also ample bait storage facilities and drying facilities. Additional requests can be made in advance of your stay.

Rowers have full use of the kitchen facilities which includes fridge freezer, oven, microwave, dishwasher.

As well as that we also provide a B&B service for individuals or groups who wish to stay.

Where we are:

Oaklands is located just outside Coachford village and within walking distance to Inniscarra Lake. It is a 5 minute walk to the village with a footpath. We are a 2 minute drive from the National Rowing Center of Ireland and about a 20 minute drive from Cork City. Cork Airport is less than a 30 minute drive. We are also within driving distance of 30 top class golf courses.
